Weymouth Pavilion to start cinema screenings next week

Cinema screenings are coming to Weymouth Pavilion, as soon as next week (Friday 21st February).
The move follows the closure of the town's Cineworld on New Bond Street before Christmas. |newtab)
The Pavilion announced plans to help fill the gap on their social media last month saying:
"We're pleased to announce our intention to screen films. With the space, the tech, and a whole lot of passion, it just makes sense to bring you the best of both worlds - movies and live shows. Get ready for a mix of old favourites and brand-new releases that will have you on the edge of your seat!
"Behind the scenes we’ve been working hard to bring the idea together, in preparation we’ve installed a huge 11 metre screen in the auditorium."
They've now posted update saying a projector weighing 21.5 stone has been lifted up five flights of stairs and installed ready for use.
The first screening will be on Friday 21st February at 7.00pm.
And we're being asked to vote on what the first film should be.
The choices are:
