A Citroen Cactus van was stolen from Baynard's Road at around 4.20pm on Sunday 4th May.

That vehicle was then seen on CCTV in the days that followed, in connection with reports of tool thefts on the same road.

“We would also urge members of the public in the area to please check any garages, driveways and outbuildings for any further items which may have been stolen between Sunday 4th May and Monday 12th May.

“Furthermore, I would ask residents to please check any home CCTV or doorbell cameras during this period to see if they have captured relevant footage.

“We are aware of CCTV footage relating to this incident circulating online on social media. This matter is the subject of an active investigation and I would urge anyone with relevant footage not to share it on social media but to report it to police.”
