Three teenage girls charged with public order offence in Lyme Regis
Staff at the town's Brewery had rocks thrown at them and were verbally abused
Three teenagers have been charged after rocks were thrown at staff at Lyme Regis Brewery.
Police say the victims at Mill Lane - who also suffered verbal abuse - weren't seriously injured in the incident, at around 10.10pm on Saturday 14th September.
A 13-year-old girl from Uplyme in Devon has been charged with criminal damage, common assault and a public order offence.
A 13-year-old girl from Lyme Regis has been charged with two counts of common assault and a public order offence.
A 14-year-old girl from Axminster in Devon has also been charged with a public order offence.
They're due before Weymouth Magistrates Court next month.
PC Joseph Garrard, of the Dorset Police Volume Crime Team, said:
“We would like to reassure residents, visitors and business owners in West Dorset that we take all reports of anti-social behaviour in our communities very seriously and we will continue to do all we can to investigate incidents of this nature and take appropriate action.”
