Stolen bank card used for fraudulent cash withdrawals in Dorset
CCTV images have been released of a man police want to trace
A stolen bank card's been used to steal £10,800 from cashpoints across Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.
The card and PIN number were intercepted in the post in Surrey back in April.
It was then used on Monday 22nd April to make the fraudulent withdrawals from Natwest branches.
The thefts are being investigated by Dorset Police, who've just released details along with CCTV images of a man they want to trace.
Detective Constable Michael White, of Bournemouth police, said:
“An investigation is underway to establish exactly when the bank card and PIN code documentation were stolen.
“As part of my enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of a man believed to be using the stolen bank card and I would ask anyone with information about his identity to please come forward.”
