Five ATM machines have been damaged across one night in Poole, with police investigating.

The incidents happened in Blandford Road and the High Street between Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th January.

The details have just been shared, along with an image of a person officers want to trace.

PC Gemma Savage, of Poole police, said: “These incidents caused significant damage to the cash machines, resulting in costly repairs being needed.

“We believe that the damage was caused to try and access money inside the machines, but thankfully no access was gained.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries, I am issuing an image of a person I would like to identify. While I appreciate their face is covered, I am hoping someone may recognise them from the clothing they are wearing.”
