Police looking for trio following early-morning burglary in Shaftesbury
Police appeal for witnesses after three men steal high value equipment during early morning break-in at Cann Common Workshops
Police are appealing for witnesses after a commercial burglary near Shaftesbury in which thieves stole high-value equipment.
Officers were called after three men reportedly broke into Melbury Workshops at Cann Common at around 3:30am on Tuesday November 18.
The suspects are said to have forced entry before making off with two pieces of diagnostic machinery, each worth several thousand pounds.
The men are believed to have left the scene in a white Audi A3.
Police Constable Samuel Berry, of North Dorset police, said the force was pursuing “a number of lines of enquiry” to identify those responsible.
“I am keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation,” he said. “I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of Tuesday 18th November to please contact us.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the vicinity around the relevant time to check any dashcam footage to see if they have captured a vehicle matching the description given.”
