Police CCTV appeal following theft from Christchurch jewellery store

Officers investigating the theft of a ring from a jewellery store in Christchurch are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 1.15pm on Thursday 30 December 2021 a man stole a ring valued at around £1,350 from Hamilton Jewellers in Pound Lane.

Police say he left the store and ran through the underpass heading toward the Waitrose store at Bargates.

Police Constable Glenn Stokes, of Dorset Police, said: “Our investigation into this theft is ongoing and we have now obtained a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I am releasing this in the hope that someone might have information as to his identity.

“I would urge anyone with information that may assist our enquiries to please come forward.”
