NFU Mutual puts £6,500 into Dorset County Hospital charity
The Dorchester insurers are supporting the Emergency and Critical Care Appeal
Dorset County Hospital's been given an extra £6,500 towards their Emergency and Critical Care Appeal, by rural insurers NFU Mutual.
Each of the company's offices, including Dorchester's, are given a share of a national 'Agency Giving Fund' to support local good causes.
The donation will go towards the campaign to provide enhancements at the hospital’s new emergency department and critical care unit, with construction work soon to get underway.
The appeal is directly funding facilities such as relatives’ overnight accommodation, a patient garden, a child and adolescent mental health unit and staff rest areas.

NFU Mutual’s Agency Giving Fund was first created in 2020 in response to the pandemic, and this ongoing support is helping to change lives, providing both emergency support and building long-term resilience."
