Wrapped Christmas presents containing children's toys and four pairs of designer shoes have been stolen during a burglary in Bournemouth.

A man and woman are believed to have entered a property on Frances Road at around 2.30am on Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December).

The victim was warned by a neighbour, who saw people going into the house.

The man and woman were then seen leaving the area in a taxi at around 3.30am.

The shoes taken are a pair of black Nike Jordans, a pair of black and red Nike trainers, a pair of black Tommy Hilfiger trainers, and a pair of black Balenciaga trainers.

CCTV images have now been released of two people that police are looking to trace.

PC Ilenia Frandi, of Bournemouth police, said:

“Our investigation is continuing into this incident and I am now issuing CCTV images of a man and a woman I would like to identify.

“I appreciate the images are not of the best quality, but I am keen to hear from anyone who may recognise them from their clothing or have information about their identities.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the described items above being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.”
