CCTV: Bournemouth Police looking to trace five people following assault

Two male victims needed hospital treatment after the incident

Police in Bournemouth have released CCTV images of five people they're looking to trace, following an assault.

Two males, aged 18 and 20, were attacked by a group of men as they sat on a bench outside Bar Me on Old Christchurch Road.

It happened just after 4.00am on Monday 1st April, with police now sharing the details, along with the images.

The victims both suffered facial injuries which needed hospital treatment.

PC Gemma Thomas, of Dorset Police, said:

“This appears to have been an unprovoked assault and we will do all we can to investigate violent incidents such as this.

“We have been carrying out a number of enquiries and I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of five people we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding the identities of the individuals pictured to please contact us.”
