Police looking to trace Boscombe assault victim
It's believed the same man was also responsible for a second assault
Police in Boscombe are looking to trace the victim of an assault, as they investigate two incidents in one morning.
An elderly man was attacked on Sea Road, near to KFC, at around 6.00am on Thursday 1st August.
He was treated by an ambulance crew, but wasn't seriously hurt.
The same man is then believed to have attacked a second victim, near to McDonald's on Christchurch Road shortly afterwards.
The victim is described as:
- White
- Bald
- White goatee beard
- Wearing a black jacket with a hood over a grey or blue shirt
- Black trousers
- Black shoes
- Walking using a stick
Police want to identify him, to get his account of what happened.
PC Edwin Deverill, of Bournemouth police, said:
“We are investigating these two assaults and would like the public’s help to identify the second victim so we can take his account of what happened and provide support.
“I am appealing to anyone who recognises him from the description given to please get in touch. If you are the man involved – please come forward as we want to make sure you are OK.
“We understand this was a traumatic incident for the victim we have already spoken to and it has had a significant impact on their wellbeing.
“I would also appeal for anyone with information about the two incidents to please come forward.”
