Man charged with firearms offences after Walsall incident
52-year-old to face court on three charges today
A 52-year-old man has been charged with firearms offences following an incident outside an address in Walsall.
Police were called to Hough Road, Pleck, at around 9pm on Thursday after concerns for welfare were reported.
Firearms officers attended the scene and disarmed a man, later identified as Mark Lowe.
Lowe, who is from Walsall, has been charged with two offences of possessing a prohibited weapon and one offence of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today for a first hearing.
