Two teenagers have been arrested after two boys aged 15 were injured in a stabbing in Birmingham.
Officers were called to Cole Bank Road just after 3.30pm yesterday (4 March).
One of the teenagers suffered a knife wound to the back, while a second was stabbed in the arm.
Both were taken to hospital. but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two boys, aged 16 and 18 were arrested last night on suspicion of wounding with intent, and remain in custody this morning. A knife has been recovered as part of the investigation.
Police are following up a number of lines of enquiry, reviewing CCTV and speaking to a number of witnesses.
They are stepping up patrols in the area and working with schools to offer reassurance to students and parents.
