Two more men charged with murder of DPD driver in Shrewsbury

Detectives investigating the murder of a DPD delivery driver in Shrewsbury have charged two more men.

Aurman Singh, 23, from Smethwick, died after he was attacked by a gang of men in Berwick Avenue in Coton Hill on 21 August last year.

Mehakdeep Singh, 23, and Sehajpal Singh, 25, both of Hohenzell in Austria were charged yesterday (18 July) with murder.

Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Telford Magistrates’ Court today (19 July).

Five men have previously been convicted and jailed for their part in Aurman's death.
