Two charged over weapons disorder in Birmingham

Patrols have been stepped up following violent disorder in Stechford

Police have charged two men with violent disorder after an incident involving weapons in Stechford.

Officers were called to Church Lane just before 3.30pm on Thursday (27 March).

It's believe the occupants of three cars were involved in the disorder, and a firearm was discharged.

Two men were taken to hospital and arrested.

Mohammed Aadam, aged 21 and from Birmingham, and Mohammed Zaheer, aged 27 and from Birmingham, have both been charged with violent disorder and appeared before Birmingham Magistrates yesterday (29 March).

Police are reviewing footage of the incident posted on social media, and said they're continuing to identify and arrest those involved.

Patrols have also been stepped up around the local area.
