Three men have been charged after disorder broke out on a Birmingham street earlier this week, leaving a man injured.

Police were called to Tyburn Road just before 4.40pm on Tuesday (27 January) following reports of an assault. A man in his 30s was found at the scene with injuries, which officers say were not serious.

Following what officers described as “quick-time enquiries”, a car believed to be linked to the incident was stopped further along Tyburn Road. Arrests were made, and drugs were recovered during a search of the vehicle.

Terrence Brown, aged 20 and from Birmingham, has been charged with affray and possession of cannabis. He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today (30 January).

Two other Birmingham men — 20-year-old Erfan Abbasbashi and 21-year-old Huans Munira — have also been charged with affray. Both were due to appear before magistrates yesterday.
