Three people have been taken to hospital after a collision between two cars in Halesowen this morning.

Three people are in hospital after a collision involving two cars in Halesowen this morning.

Two women are being treated for serious injuries after the crash at the junction of Stourbridge Road and Fox Hollies Driver shortly before 4am today (9 Jan).

A man from the same car received minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Upon arrival ambulance staff found four patients. Firstly, two women who were passengers in the first car had sustained serious injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.

“They received treatment at the scene before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment.”

“A third patient, a man from the first car was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious. He received treatment at the scene before he being conveyed to Midland Metropolitan University Hospital for further assessment.”

“A fourth man who was the driver of the second car was assessed and did not require treatment from ambulance staff. He received self care advice before being discharged at the scene.”

“No further patients required treatment.”
