Investigation after man stabbed in Tamworth flat
It is thought the suspect is known to the victim
An investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed at a flat in Tamworth.
Emergency services treated a man with stab wounds at a flat on Masefield Drive at around 8 this morning (21 March).
The man, in his 40s, was taken to hospital where he was treated for the injuries not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
The victim was stabbed inside the address, so police believe the suspect was known to him.
An increased number of Staffordshire Police officers will be in the area whilst enquiries continue.
Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch.
