Police have been given extra powers after receiving increased reports of crime and anti-social behaviour in Stechford, Birmingham.

The Section 35 powers mean officers can move people along who they believe are contributing to anti-social behaviour.

It's in place in and around Stechford Retail Park, Lea Village, and Glebe Farm Road areas. A number of teenagers were dispersed last night as a result.

There will also be extra patrols in the area.

The Section 35 powers are in affect until 8:45pm tomorrow (17 July).
