Second teenager charged over Solihull murder of young boy
A teenager was fatally stabbed on 29 October in Marston Green
A second teenager has been charged after the death of a boy in Solihull on October 29 2024.
A 15-year-old appeared in Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Nov 7th) charged with murder.
He was also charged with possession of a bladed article and remanded in custody.
That means two have now been charged on suspicion of murder.
Emergency services were called to Station Road in Marston Green where they tried to save the teenager, who sadly died.
There have been three arrested over the incident, overall.
The latest, an 18-year-old, who remains in custody as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, from the force’s Homicide Team, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of the 17-year-old boy who sadly died.
“We are keeping the family informed of the latest developments. I want to thank members of the public that have already come forward to share what they know.
"I’m still appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch," said Cordell.
