Police appeal after two pedestrians injured in Birmingham collision

A man and a woman were injured in Birmingham in December.

West Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a woman were seriously injured in a collision in Birmingham.

The woman suffered serious injuries when they were hit by a car on Vyse Street in the Jewellery Quarter around 9pm on 5 December.

The man suffered several injuries, but they were less serious.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping officers with their investigation.

The force said in a statement on its website: "We’ve carried out a number of enquiries and we’re now asking for anyone who might have seen what happened to get in touch.

"We’re also really keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage from around the area at the time.
