Multiple emergency services called to serious crash in Oswestry
One person involved in the road traffic collision had to be cut out of the car
Multiple emergency services have been called to an incident involving several vehicles in Oswestry.
Officers from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to an incident taking place on Rockwell Lane in the town just after 7:45am on Thursday (April 24th).
Five fire engines were deployed to the scene, where they found three cars had smashed into each other in the early hours of the morning.
Fire crews from Oswestry, Bascurch and Wellington were called to deal with the incident, as well as the West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Mercia Police.
One person was left trapped in the car, resulting in fire crews needing the cut the person free a short time later.
Other fire services were also called to the scene, including Mid & West Wales Fire Service.
The incident was later declared over 45 minutes after the first call relating to the crash was made.
