Man in serious condition after crashing into railings in Kingstanding

A man remains in a serious condition in hospital this afternoon after crashing into a set of railings.

It happened in Kingstanding in the early hours of this morning, with police taping off Warren Farm Road for a number of hours.

Another man's suffered injuries not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

In a statement, West Midlands Police said: "We were called after a motorbike hit a fence in Warren Farm Road, Kingstanding, at just before 2.30am today (18 April).

"The rider, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"Another man from the bike sustained injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or changing.

"We're carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what happened. Anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101, and quote log 374 of 18/4/25."
