Man in custody after knife incident in Oscott
Police were called out shortly after 6.30 this morning (March 22)
West Midlands Police have confirmed that a man is in custody after an incident involving a knife in Birmingham.
Officers were rushed to Blenheim Way is Oscott shortly after 06:30 this morning (March 22) - after they received reports of a man with a knife.
A man in his 20s has now been arrested.
We're told two people were taken to hospital for further treatment, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police told us: "Our officers are remaining at the scene throughout this morning to gather evidence and speak to witnesses.
"We believe this was an isolated incident and enquiries are ongoing to understand the events leading up to it.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area while we carry out our enquiries.
"Anyone who was in the area at the time the incident took place can get in touch via 101 or Live Chat if they saw anything quoting log 659 of 22 March."
