Man dies following collision in Hodge Hill

A man's died following a collision involving a motorbike and a car in Heath Way, Hodge Hill, last week.

An 18-year-old man, the rider of the motorbike, was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the collision just before 2pm on 4 July.

The rider of the motorbike, which had been reported stolen, had failed to stop for officers prior to the collision.

A referral was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) as is normal procedure in such circumstances.
