Man dies and woman taken to hospital following Sutton Coldfield crash
It happened on Hollyfield Road shortly after 10am
A man has died and a woman has been taken to hospital following a collision in Sutton Coldfield.
Emergency services were called shortly after 10 this morning (Thursday 20 March) to Hollyfield Road in Sutton Coldfield.
Police say the man and woman were travelling in the same car and were both elderly.
The man was found in a critical condition and sadly died at the scene.
The woman, who was driving the car, has been taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.
No one else was injured.
