Liam Payne memorial to take place in Birmingham today
Nearly a hundred fans are expected to gather.
A vigil in memory of Wolverhampton-born Liam Payne is taking place later today for Liam Payne.
The 31 year old popstar died on Wednesday, after falling from the balcony of his hotel in Argentina.
Liam rose to fame on the X Factor in 2012, and was placed in One Direction, where he went on to sell our world tours and bag several number one's.
A Birmingham memorial for him will be held in Chamberlain Square and was organised by Coventry fan Molly Moore.
Molly spoke to us and said: "I hope he's watching and can see how loved he is and see how many lives he's touched.
"I also just wanted to create a safe space for fans to grieve and be around people who can understand what they're going through."
Over 40 people have confirmed there attendance in a Snapchat group chat, with fans able to take flowers and pictures of Liam to remember him.
It starts at 4pm in Chamberlain Square.
