The gang made over £1 million a year selling heroin and crack cocaine.

The men operated the Tiger Line, believed to be the largest drugs line in the Birmingham East area of the city and made £6,000 per day in sales.

The group had been supplying a considerably large amount of users on a daily basis, at all hours of the day and for a number of years until an investigation by the County Lines Taskforce team brought it to a halt.

Investigators used covert surveillance tactics and managed to get to know their operating model.

The Tiger Line was being operated from 1 November 2020, however, it is believed that the drug line had started long before this.

Bob Brown, from the County Lines Taskforce, said:

“County Lines drug dealers target the most vulnerable, ruining lives and blighting communities. This was a very sophisticated drugs operation and we are delighted to take it off our streets and get the gang convicted and behind bars".

The seven men have now been sentenced for a combined total of 35 years for their part in the drugs operation.
