A man has been charged following a fatal collision in Birmingham.

A pedestrian in his 70s was hit by a car on Highters Heath Lane shortly after 7:30pm on 4 November.

He was seriously injured and died a short time later.

Tyrone Clarke, 50, from Evesham, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving a vehicle whilst uninsured, and theft of a motor vehicle.

The family of the man who died are being supported by specialist officers and have been kept up to date with the latest in the investigation.

Police say the investigation is still continuing and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
