County Lines Criminals jailed

Two men who ran a county line drug dealing network between Worcester and the West Midlands have been jailed.

20-year-old Joshua Roberts and 21-year-old Edwyn Onyeme-Cambell have been jailed for a combined total of nearly seven years.

They pleaded guilty to possession of heroin, crack and cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.

On Wednesday 24 January, They were sentenced at Worcester Crown Court, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class A heroin, crack and cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.

On Thursday 30 November, officers stopped Onyeme-Cambell and Roberts inside Coral betting shop on Widemarsh Street in Hereford. They were found to be in possession of three large knives, a large quantity of class A drugs, two burner phones and cash.

Detective Sergeant Jim Moore said “Drugs are a constant menace to our society; they motivate offending and destroy lives. I welcome these sentences as a deterrent to those who think they can exploit vulnerable people and make Hereford a destination for their offending. Anyone found supplying controlled drugs in the county will be robustly dealt with."
