A man has been charged after a collision killed a mother and daughter in Birmingham.

Mohammed Ibrahim has been charged with death by dangerous driving after the incident on Meadway at the junction with Kitt’s Green Road, in Shard End, Birmingham.

The 25-year-old from Sheldon in Birmingham is due in Birmingham Crown Court on the 7th of May 2025.

He is facing two counts of death by dangerous driving and three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Mohammed Ibrahim appeared in court yesterday (10th Apr) for a first hearing.

49-year-old Amanda Riley and 72-year-old Linda Philips died on Boxing Day in 2023.
