Two teens arrested after man dies in Birmingham car crash
Two teenagers have been arrested on causing death by dangerous driving in Birmingham.
Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man died in a crash in Hall Green.
Two cars were involved when it happened on Stratford Road last night shortly before 7:15pm, one of which went into a tree.
One of the drivers, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but later died.
The occupants of the other car fled the scene.
Later on, two teenagers presented themselves at a police station in relation to the collision. An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old have been detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The 19-year-old has been taken to hospital for health checks, whilst the other teenager has been taken into police custody.
