Man charged with attempted murder after teenager shot in Birmingham

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was left with serious injuries when they were shot in Birmingham.

Lamar Anderson, from Birmingham, has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The incident took place on August 2nd 2025 at around 9.40pm in George Street Park in Blasall Heath.

21-year-old Lamar Anderson will appear in Birmingham Crown Court on September 15th.

The victim has been left with serious injuries, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
