Teenager arrested for Sandhurst collision

A teenager has been arrested after road traffic collision caused one vehicle to roll over in Sandhurst.

At approximately 6pm on Sunday (9 November), there was a collision between a white Fiat Punto and a dark-coloured Kia Sportage on Rackstraw Road at the junction with Yorktown Road.

The Fiat Punto rolled over in the collision causing the junction to be blocked for some time.

Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, although the two occupants of the Fiat sustained cuts and bruises.

Nobody required hospital treatment.

A 17-year-old boy from Sandhurst has been arrested and bailed in connection with the incident while investigations continue.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Will Holbrook said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I would be particularly keen to hear from anybody who may have dash-cam footage which has captured the incident to please contact us."
