Thames Valley Police has released an image of a man they want to find after a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe.

At around 10.45pm on Thursday 4 December, a white BMW 1 Series 2008 model collided with a parked vehicle which had a domino effect on four other parked cars on Bookerhill Road.

The passenger of the BMW, a man in his twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains there at this time.

The driver of the BMW fled the scene.

Investigating officer, PC Martin Woodford of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this collision, which has resulted in serious injuries to a man.

“If you recognise the man in the image, or if this is you, please contact us as we think this person may have information to assist our investigation.

“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check their dash-cam footage, as it may have captured something that could help with our enquiries.

“If you saw the collision, have any information or hold any footage that might assist our investigation, no matter how small it may seem, please call 101 or make a report via our website, quoting reference number 43250618180.

“If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
