Two arrested after stabbing and suspected kidnap in Milton Keynes
The victim remains in hospital
Thames Valley Police have arrested two men following an assault in Milton Keynes that left a man in hospital with serious injuries.
The suspects, aged 20 and 58, both from Milton Keynes, have been taken into custody on suspicion of kidnap and wounding with intent.
The incident happened at around 11.40pm on 18th April when a group wearing balaclavas reportedly placed a man into a vehicle in the Goring area of Stantonbury.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in his twenties with stab wounds.
He was subsequently taken to hospital, where he remains in a non-life-threatening condition.
Thames Valley Police are continuing their investigations and are appealing for witnesses.
Graeme Robinson, Police Staff Investigator from Milton Keynes CID, called the incident serious and distressing:
"We are carrying out a number of enquiries to establish exactly what has happened.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the Goring area of Stantonbury last night, or who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, to please come forward.
“Even information which may seem insignificant could be important to our investigation.
“At this time, we believe this to be an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to the public. Officers are continuing to be present in the area and are happy to speak with anyone who has concerns or questions.”
