Police reveal cocaine and cannabis 'worth up to £20,000' seized during raid in Eyemouth

Cocaine and cannabis with a potential street value of £20,000 has been unearthed by police during the search of a property in Eyemouth.
Officers, armed with a warrant, raided an address in the town's Hurkur Crescent around 11am on Wednesday (July 2nd).
An unknown sum of cash was also seized during the search in the seaside community.
A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the discovery.
And a report detailing the circumstances will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Constable Reece Hepburn, from Eyemouth Police Station, said: “Drugs can cause misery in our communities and we are determined to protect the public by disrupting the sale of illegal substances.
"Information from the public is crucial to our work and we encourage anyone with information or concerns about drug related activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101 or report to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
