Love Island's supergroup want to 'work with Ed Sheeran' after The X Factor: Celebrity
Wes, Samira, Eyal and Zara are ready to take on the world!
Fans of reality TV are gearing up for The X Factor: Celebrity this weekend, with the new concept hitting our screens on Saturday 12th October with host Dermot O'Leary and judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger.
Whilst the celebrity line-up has been questioned by fans, many are very excited to see the Love Island supergroup, made up of former Islanders Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker and Samira Mighty.
Although they were all made famous on Love Island, Wes, Zara, Eyal and Samira CAN actually all sing, with some of them even having a performance background.
Ahead of the launch show on Saturday night, the Love Island supergroup joined heat Magazine for chat, where they revealed if the band will keep going once the show is over.
By the sounds of it, they not only want to keep the band going, but they also have some big ambitions, including working with pop superstar Ed Sheeran!
Speaking to the publication, Wes said, "Of course," before Eyal added, "We want to be a successful band – release a few songs, and then go on tour. I’d love to work with Ed Sheeran."
Samira said, "We’ll make a hit single first," as Wes went on to add, "The X Factor is a platform – we’re using it to teach us more about ourselves as artists."
Meanwhile, Wes, who is now dating 2019 Islander Arabella Chi following his split from Megan Barton-Hanson, also opened up about how he thinks the programme will affect his relationship.
Admitting he has no worries about the 'curse' this time round, Wes said, "I have absolutely no doubts about my relationship. We get on so well – it’s a very different dynamic to what I’ve had before. She’s just so chilled. It’s really nice to be going into this knowing it’s going to be absolutely dandy."
He added, "Unlike last year, it’s worked so much better just taking a chilled-out approach to this and going through the process like we would have done, regardless of the shows we’ve been on."
You can read the Love Island supergroup's full interview in this week's heat Magazine, on sale now.
As well as the Love Island supergroup, Simon Cowell has also signed-up the likes of Megan McKenna, Kevin McHale, and The Chase star Jenny Ryan.

Vinnie Jones
After initially pulling out of the show following the tragic death of his wife Tanya in July, Vinnie Jones was invited to the live shows by Simon Cowell, with the former footballer saying, "I'd be honoured, she would love me to do it." Sadly, he left the competition in Week 5 with Try Stars.

David Hasselhoff's 27-year-old daughter Hayley was sent packing after her audition. Hayley failed to impress her mentor Louis Walsh, meaning she didn't make it to the live shows.

Despite getting a 'safe seat' during the first live show, former EastEnders actor Jonny Labey was given the boot in Week Two.
Victoria Ekanoye
After quitting Coronation Street in January this year, soap star Victoria Ekanoye landed a role on Celebrity X Factor, but her time on the show was cut short when she was voted out in the second live show.
