Morrissey has cancelled all his remaining 2025 tour dates as he continues to battle “extreme exhaustion.”

Last week, Morrissey’s Mexican promoter Ocesa announced that The Smiths legend’s shows at Mexico City Palacio De Los Deportes and Guadalajara Auditorio Telmex were axed because of “the artist’s extreme exhaustion”.

Morrissey never formally announced the cancellation, however he responded on his official website by writing the words ‘I know it’s going to happen someday’ alongside 37 Mexican flag emojis and a video of his 1992 solo song of the same name.

The 66-year-old singer’s promoters in South America have now revealed that his gigs at Buenos Aires Movistar Arena, São Paulo Espaço Unimed, Santiago Movistar Arena, Lima Arena 1 and Bogota Movistar Arena later this month have all been cancelled as Morrissey continues to rest up.

A notice from the Argentinian concert venue Movistar Arena reads: “We inform the public that due to extreme exhaustion of the artist, Morrissey’s tour of Latin America will not take place, including the show scheduled for November 8th at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires.”

Morrissey fan site Morrissey Solo also reports that Morrissey’s Greek show at Athens Faliro Sports Pavilion (Tae Kwon Do) in December will no longer be going ahead.

Last month, Morrissey’s two December shows in Turkey were also cancelled without explanation just two weeks after they were announced.

Morrissey is scheduled to play a one-off UK show at London’s The O2 on Saturday 28th February 2026.
