Note: The version of Absolute Radio carried on digital radio, digital television, the internet, and 1215AM is our national service, which has no requirement for a public file.
Absolute Radio 105.8FM in London, Absolute Radio 105.2FM in the West Midlands and each local commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news, speech levels etc. These requirements are set out in the station "Format", a document issued by Ofcom, the UK's radio regulator. This Public File contains details of the elements that Ofcom regulate, such as music tracks, local news etc. It is intended to give you a better understanding of our output and what we are doing for our local community. It is relevant only to "Absolute Radio 105.8FM", our London service and "Absolute Radio 105.2FM", our West Midlands service.

Operational information
Transmission: Absolute Radio 105.8FM is available on 105.8FM across London. It isn't on any other platform. Absolute Radio 105.2FM is available on 105.2FM across the West Midlands. It isn't on any other platform.
Automation: There is three hours at most of automated programming in weekday or weekend daytime in a week.

News Bulletin Schedule
Our news contains a mix of London, UK and world stories. We'll also bring you sport, entertainment and weather news. Bulletins are broadcast from 6am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm on weekdays, 6am to 12pm on weekends. Additional bulletins will be added in light of breaking news. Local travel information is broadcast between 6am to 9am and 4pm to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12pm on weekends.
