Blondie have finally released the reissue of their 'No Exit' album. The album was originally released back in 1999, and hailed as the band's comeback album, after a 15-year hiatus.

When it was released in February 1999, the album, which features hits 'Maria' and 'Nothing Is Real but the Girl', went to Number 3 in the UK being certified Gold, selling 400k copies.

In 2024, the album celebrated its 25th anniversary with the band confirming it was available to stream and download, with 'Limited Edition Deluxe Gatefold 2LP Vinyl Reissue coming soon…'

Now, following the sad passing of band member Clem Burke, more than a year after their initial announcement, the band have released the vinyl version of 'No Exit'.

Taking to their social media channels in September, the band shared a black and white video with a countdown, telling fans: 'Some doors are meant to be re-opened. Pre-order No Exit 09.04.2025'.

Fans were quick to comment on the video, with one writing: 'Looking forward to No Exit on vinyl', and another saying: 'Yes♥️🍾yes😍🍺yes♥️♥️'.

A further fan commented: 'finally'.

It was then announced on 4th September that the album would be available to buy on 31st October. Ahead of the album's release, the band shared some Interrogation Tapes, which show Debbie Harry and Chris Stein 'recount the biggest fight in Blondie’s history, share insights on the upcoming deluxe reissue, and more.'

Speaking about the band’s reunion and the making of 'No Exit', Debbie Harry said: "It was important to us that this album remain, above all else, a creative pursuit. We weren’t thinking about touring or nostalgia — our focus was entirely on creating new work."

Jimmy Destri added about the early sessions: "We began the reunion very bare bones. I think it was Debbie’s idea to go down to this extremely minimalist studio on Ludlow Street with just the four of us. No bass. Chris with a guitar, Debbie with a feedbacking microphone, Clem on an old kit, and I had a cheap electric piano. It just clicked. It still sounded like the four of us."
