White Chicks could finally be getting a sequel

The first movie landed in 2004

Believe it or not it has been over 20 years since comedy movie White Chicks was released, starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans as FBI agents who go undercover as two white females. With hints of a follow-up popping up over the last two decades, it seems the movie could finally be getting the hugely antipcated sequel fans have been crying out for.

Will there be a White Chicks 2?

As the Wayans brothers attended the NAACP Image Awards to celebrate being inducted into the Hall of Fame, Marlon, who is now 52-years-old, dropped a huge surprise about a potential second movie.

Speaking to Good Morning America, Marlon revealed he's asked on a daily basis about a White Chicks sequel, admitting fans 'love' the movie.

He said: "They love that movie. Hey, you know, I think it's time. Let's get Scary Movie 6 done, and then we'll go and bring out White Chicks 2."

Despite Marlon's words, nothing has been officially confirmed about a sequel, but with Scary Movie 6 due out in June 2026, more updates could land then.

The original White Chicks movie was an instant hit when it landed in cinemas way back on 15th October 2004, grossing a huge 113.1 million at the box office. The classic film has also stood the test of time, with the movie still popular with a range of ages to this day, with many crying out for a sequel to be made.

The movie follows the story of FBI agents Kevin Copeland (Shawn Wayans) and Marcus Anthony Copeland II (Marlon Wayans) who are forced to go undercover as two white women called Brittany and Tiffany Wilson in order to protect two hotel heiresses from a kidnapping plot targeting socialites.

As well as the Wayans brothers, White Chicks also stars Terry Crews as Latrell Spencer, where his character is involved in a now iconic scene where he's driving whilst singing along to Vanessa Carlton's track 'A Thousand Miles'.

The hilarious comedy also stars John Heard as Warren Vandergeld, Busy Philipps as Karen Googlestein, Jessica Cauffiel as Tori Wilson and Jennifer Carpenter as Lisa Anderson.
