Alex Warren: Debut album

In July 2025, Alex released his complete album called 'You’ll Be Alright Kid'. The singer dropped 'You'll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1)' featuring 11 songs, back in 2024, later releasing the full album. The album was a Top 10 success in the UK, and featured his massive Number 1 hit 'Ordinary'.

He has also released 'On My Mind' with K-pop superstar Rosé. 'On My Mind' was co-written by Alex and is featured on his current album.

Second album: 'Wildchild'

On Wednesday 3rd June 2026, Alex announced the name and release date for his second album. 'Wildchild' will be released on Friday 28th August, and will feature many different types of songs. As Alex explained in an interview with Hits Radio: "I wanted to have at least a song or two for each emotion you feel. And so if you're going through a breakup, if you're going through a loss of some sort, if you get wronged by someone in the world, if you are falling in love, I have a song, I have at least two songs per that on its own."

Opening up about the writing process to Hits Radio, Alex told how it was put together with a close-knit group who have worked with him since the beginning. He explained: "I can't write songs that I don't feel attached to and I can't sing them either.

"Like when I try to sing a song and it's like a cover, or I try to sing a song that someone maybe had written for me, I've never done it.

"I've never put out a song I didn't write because it's just so difficult for me to kind of get into it, because I don't believe in it. So I think that's also something really special about these albums is it's just me and the same people.

"I've only worked with the same people, but that entire album is all the same three people."

What is 'Ordinary' about?

Alex joined Hits Radio back in 2025, when he revealed what his hit song 'Ordinary' was all about. He explained how he used to be homeless, sleeping in his car.

"I was 18-years-old, sleeping in my car, and my wife, who was also 18-years-old... She would start living in my car with me and I think the bond that we have is really special," he explained.

Continuing: "Like we've been together for nearly seven years now, and when we met I was homeless. There was nothing, no one can say it was because of the music, no one can say it was anything.

"I had nothing and she had nothing, but we did it, she slept in the car, and we did this together. We're here together, we travel together we have four dogs and that song is kind of like, this is what we found and it's not normal.

"That's why it's called 'Ordinary', because it's anything but."

He also told Hits Radio how he originally didn't like his hit song, saying: "I hated it when it was just us on a guitar, like we didn't really do anything to it. We were still writing it and I was like, 'Oh, it just doesn't sound like a record I'd put out’."

The inspiration behind 'I Miss You More'

Alex revealed to Hits Radio in June 2026, that on his second album there's a song called 'I Miss You More', the song was inspired by a letter written by Alex's dad before he passed away. Alex was just nine when his dad died, but didn't read the letter until more recently, when he went to his dad's grave.

He told Fleur East that the song is so emotional he can't perform it live. 😢 "When we wrote it, I went to my dad's grave and I played it for... I play my songs when I write them for my parents and I go to their grave and play it. And I just think it's like a beautiful moment. And I just... I bawled my eyes out," he told her.

He continued."And so I went to his grave and I read the letter and we wrote this song and it was just this beautiful, emotional... really hard record to write." 😢

Why 'Won't Go Back Again' isn't what you'd expect from Alex

Alex also revealed that he had a song that might surprise some fans. The singer has a hype up song on his next album called 'Won't Go Back Again'. Alex described the song, saying: "It doesn't sound like a song I would put out.

The singer went on to explain: "Like it really doesn't... When we were writing it, we were just trying to find a hype up song. I love hype up songs and I listen to them like if I'm about to go play a show, or if I'm about to go skateboarding or whatever."

When is he on tour?

Alex has now wrapped up the UK leg of 'Finding Family on The Road'. In 2026 he performed in London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Belfast and Dublin.

Who is he married to?

Alex is married to Kouvr Annon. Kouvr was also a member of The Hype House. The pair met on Snapchat in 2018, when she moved to California to be with Alex, who was homeless at the time, living in his car.

The pair got engaged in 2022 and married a couple of years later.
