Courteney Cox

Friends star Courteney Cox is great friends with The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman, so it's no surprise rumours are rife that she could be taking part in the celebrity series! As fans will know, Courteney even appeared in a promo video alongside Claudia to promote applications for series two last year.

Ever since her short stint as Prime Minister back in 2022, Liz Truss has been rumoured to take part in a number of reality TV shows, including I'm A Celeb and Strictly. Although she's not signed any contracts just yet, rumours are suggesting she's been named as a 'dream contestant' by bosses.

Reports in the press are suggesting a number of huge names are keen to appear on the show, with a source saying: "After the show was announced, producers were swamped with calls from big names and their agents wanting to throw their hat in the ring — many of them a big surprise."

When is it on TV?

There's no official start date for the celebrity version of The Traitors just yet, but BBC bosses have confirmed filming will take place in 2025.

Mike Cotton, Creative Director Unscripted at Studio Lambert and Executive Producer for The Traitors added: “We are thrilled to be inviting some celebrities into our castle to come and play the game.
