The announcement, was a collab post with her Brighter Days account, shows a video with the message: 'A corrupt file has been found and corrected'.

It goes on to reveal the words on screen 'see you next year...'

Taking to Instagram on 16th July, the singer shared a video of her singing her classic 2016 hit 'Into You', on stage, as she captioned it: 'very silly of you all to assume that just because i have my hands full with many things that i plan to abandon singing & music … !!!

'it is and has always been my lifeline. there will need to be room made for all of it. 🧚🏼‍♂️

'it may not look exactly like it did before but i much prefer how it looks in my head. i am having fun. i feel grateful and excited and inspired. :) finding a balance, between many projects and endeavors i love, and doing it my own way… so i’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year. even if it’s just for a little.

'i love you.' (sic)

Her post quickly attracted nearly two million likes, with fans taking to the comments to express their excitement. One wrote: 'i can feel people passing out across the globe as i type this …… i am one of them' (sic) with another writing: 'You are a vision, a genius and a woman who can do what she wants!! August 2024

Reports began to surface in August 2024 that Ariana had began reserving a range of stadiums across the world, preparing for the potential 'Eternal Sunshine' mini tour.

July 2024

Ariana chatted on a podcast and revealed that she was also trying to squeeze in a tour to perform the songs from her newest album in between her busy Wicked schedule. However, in December her label appeared to shut down the idea of an 'Eternal Sunshine' tour.

Speaking on the Shut Up Evan podcast, Ari said: "I think it’d be a really lovely idea to be able to trickle in some shows in between the two Wicked films. I think there is a version of that which exists."

Explaining that it wouldn't be a huge tour like she's used to doing for obvious reasons, Ari continued: "It’s definitely, for a multitude of reasons, not going to be a tour in the way I used to tour. It’d be a mini little sampling of shows. I do think it’d be really nice to do that. It’s something that me and my team are working on."
