Bebe Rexha is a super successful singer! You'll know her from plenty of bangers over the years - from David Guetta's 'I'm Good (Blue)', 'In The Name Of Love' and 'Hey Mama' to 'One In A Million', 'Heart Still Beating' and 'New Religion'.
But did you know that she's an incredibly talented songwriter, too? Bebe has written plenty of chart-topping hits for other artists, as well as her own bops. After the release of her own new collab with David Guetta called 'Sad Girls', let's take a trip down memory lane and get clued up on which artists Bebe has written songs for - as well as her own biggest hits so far.
Which artists has Bebe Rexha written songs for?
Selena Gomez - 'Like A Champion' (2013)
Having already been working in the music industry for a couple of years, Bebe's songwriting talents were starting to get noticed. Although she wrote songs for a handful of other artists prior, Bebe then penned 'Like a Champion' which was chosen for Selena Gomez to record for her 2013 album, 'Stars Dance'.

Eminem featuring Rihanna - 'The Monster' (2013)
Bebe got her big break in 2013 when she wrote 'The Monster', which was later recorded by Eminem featuring Rihanna on their fourth collaboration together, and appeared on Eminem's album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2'. 'The Monster' went to Number 1 around the world in many countries, including the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and plenty of others. It's even been certified 3x Platinum by the BPI, translating to over 1.8 million sales in the UK! Bebe has said in interviews that she wished she'd been able to keep her vocals on this song, telling a US radio station: "It really resonated with what I was going through in my life, I had just gotten dropped from my first record deal so I was like in a super dark place."

Iggy Azalea - 'Team' (2016)
In 2016, Bebe co-wrote 'Team' with Iggy Azalea, which didn't appear on an album but went to Number 12 in the UK Hip Hop charts. Iggy spoke about working with Bebe on the song to a US radio show in 2022, explaining that her dresser Alejandra was good friend's with Bebe's manager and that's how they came together to write together with Bebe's writing partner Lauren Christy: "We all got together after I'd had like five attempts at it. Bebe wrote the melody but then had to leave to promote her song with G-Eazy ('Me, Myself and I'), so it was two weeks with no Bebe to finish this song, and I was like, 'I just can't wait!' I had to finish the song! So I'm just gonna write to the melody, and then she came back, and I was like, 'I'm sorry, I'm keeping it!' So it worked out very organically." She added that she'd had "such a good time" writing with them and that they wrote a couple of other songs: "I just really like Bebe, I think that's someone I would be friends with even if neither of us were musical, just personality-wise I really get along with her and we had a really good vibe in the studio," adding that she felt really relaxed in the studio.

Nick Jonas - 'Under You' (2016)
Bebe wrote 'Under You' for Nick Jonas' third album 'Last Year Was Complicated', released in 2016. Speaking to the Official Charts, Bebe explained that the song was originally written for Rihanna five years before it was released by Nick! She said: "I remember pitching this song called 'Under You' for Rihanna, but they decided it was too low in the key, so I passed it on to Usher to cut it. A year later Usher hadn't cut the track because he'd decided he didn't want to put new music out, so I sent it to Nick Jonas, who ended up putting it out on his album."
She added about why there was such a gap: "There's this etiquette in the industry, where you need to be respectful to the artist and only send the song to one person at a time otherwise it might hurt the artist's feelings. You also want to make sure the song feels right for the artist. It's more so than just how the voice feels on it or whether you personally connect to the artist as a writer." She later supported Nick and his brothers Joe and Kevin on their Jonas Brothers reunion tour.

What has Bebe said about writing for other artists?
Bebe spoke to NME in 2018 about writing songs for other artists and saying it's "less stressful!" She told the publication: "You write the song, but it’s not going out under your name. When you put something out under your name, it takes a lot of time and work to really promote it. But if the song fits for either me or another artist, it’s fulfilling in both ways. It really is."
When asked about how the process can work, Bebe explained: "It changes. When we did 'Meant to Be', it was originally a Florida Georgia Line song. That’s why it’s a pop-country song. I wanted to write it for them, that was my mindset, but the song was so great and I felt so connected to it but I had to put it on my EP, because it’s too special."
Which are Bebe Rexha's most successful songs?
Over the years, Bebe has released many very popular songs. However, between 2022 and 2026 she didn't have any songs that entered the Top 40 in the UK. Revealing in an interview with Hits Radio that she was in the Khia Asylum, a fictional prison where pop artists who have lost mainstream relevance end up, Bebe has definitely broken out of it with her latest release 'New Religion'. Take a look at some of her most successful songs below...
'Take Me Home' by Cash Cash featuring Bebe Rexha
Released in July 2013, this song peaked at Number 5 in the UK charts and was certified Gold in the UK. The song was written by Bebe along with several other songwriters, including the three members of Cash Cash, Samuel Frisch, Alex Makhlouf and Jean Paul Makhlouf.
'Hey Mama' by David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack
Released in March 2015, 'Hey Mama' peaked at Number 9 in the UK chart and was certified Platinum in the UK. It appeared on David Guetta's sixth studio album 'Listen'.
The song was written by Bebe along with the other collaborators, and Ester Dean who has written songs for several pop stars, including Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Beyoncé.
'Me, Myself & I' with G-Eazy
Co-written by Bebe with Lauren Christy and G-Eazy among others, the song was released in October 2015. It peaked at Number 13 in the UK chart and was certified Platinum in the UK.
The song featured on G-Easy's second album 'When It's Dark Out', released in December 2015.
'In the Name of Love' with Martin Garrix
Bebe teamed up with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix for this 2016 hit. It peaked at Number 9 in the UK charts and was certified Platinum in the UK. Martin said of working with Bebe on the record: "First of all, I love to hear her voice. I met her earlier this year in LA. She played me some of her demos and just straight away after the first song, I fell in love with her voice because it's so unique it's so different.
"The team and I were brainstorming and then Bebe ended up doing it, with a lot of sending back and forth, lots of shaping and polishing the song and then we finally came up with the version how the world knows it right now."
The singer joined Hits Radio Pride in March 2026 and told them about the favourite music video she has recorded, which was 'In The Name of Love'. She told the Jordan-Lee: "I actually came up with the concept of wanting to jump in a pool, it being the metaphor of being when you're in a relationship you have to both jump in at the same time. And it kind of has to be equal or it's not going to work.
"And we get to set and I wore this red dress, that was kind of puffy and there were cannons in the pool!"
'Back to You' by Louis Tomlinson featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals
Released in July 2017, Bebe worked with the former One Direction star on this track which peaked at Number 8 in the UK charts and was certified Gold. The song was written by Louis, along with several songwriters, with the music video being filmed in Louis' home town of Doncaster.
'Meant to Be' featuring Florida Georgia Line
This crossover song was released in October 2017, peaking at Number 11 in the UK chart and being certified Platinum in the UK. It was also nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the GRAMMY Awards. It won three awards for being the Best Country song of the year.
The song was written by Bebe along with Tyler Hubbard (from Florida Georgia Line), Josh Miller and David Garcia.
She told Billboard of the song: "I have always respected the country genre and, growing up in New York City, I knew of country artists that had crossed over to the pop side, like Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks and Taylor Swift. I never thought a New York girl like me would have a country hit, but I guess it goes to show you that some things are just... meant to be.
"When we wrote the song, Tyler was just doing what he does best with his country roots and I was doing what I knew best with my roots. We were just being true to ourselves. The meaning is simple and honest, and that's why I think it's resonating with the world. The beautiful thing about music is that it allows you to break boundaries, and that's what I want to be remembered for: breaking boundaries."
'Girls' by Rita Ora featuring Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX
Released in May 2018, the song peaked at Number 22 in the UK chart and was certified Silver by the BPI. Rita described the song: "These past few years I've been so inspired by all the strong women I've seen who aren't afraid to be themselves.
"For those who aren't afraid to rule the world, this is our anthem. A celebration of love. And of course, thank you to all the fellow boss women who so kindly graced this song with me — each representing who they are and where they are from."
The song was criticised by LGBTQ+ communities, many of whom described the song as having "harmful" lyrics. Bebe responded to the criticism, telling Entertainment Weekly: "My sexual life is nobody's business... but we're singing a song about kissing girls and that remains true to who I am. It's the life that I live and it's honest to me.
"People automatically went for the negative instead of saying: 'Well maybe these girls do kiss girls, maybe Bebe is bi.' You don't know about my sexual orientation, so I felt disrespected."
'I'm Good (Blue)' by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha
The track was released in August 2022 after being leaked and going viral on TikTok. Bebe originally recorded the vocals years earlier, but re-recorded them for the single once she and David Guetta decided that they were going to release it properly.
It peaked at Number 1 in the UK chart, was certified Platinum in the UK and USA, won Best Collaboration at the MTV EMAs 2022 and was also nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Recording at the GRAMMY Awards and International Song of the Year at the BRIT Awards.
'New Religion'
After four long years, with the release of her song 'New Religion', Bebe was out of the Khia Asylum, the fictional prison where pop artists end up when they've lost mainstream relevance.
Her song went to Number 1 around the world on iTunes. She told Hits Radio: "This is the only sample on the whole album, ‘Dirty Blonde’. And I was like, I don't know, this was one of the first songs that we did.
"'New Religion’, which is the Faithless sample, has like 200,000 votes. They're (fans) like kind of threatening me online, they're like, 'Babes, if you don't go with ‘New Religion’, like it's over for you.'
"Like, 'If you can't see... this is the one to get you out of the Khia Asylum'."
Does Bebe Rexha sing on 'The Middle' by Zedd?
She does not sing on the official released song by Zedd - that's actually country singer Maren Morris! The track went to Number 7 in the UK and has since been certified 2x Platinum by the BPI, resulting in over 1.2 million sales in the UK! It was even nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the GRAMMY Awards.
However... Bebe DID record a demo version of the song, with a whopping total of 12 female singers all performing demos for the track. She told the Official Charts that that was very unusual: "It’s not normally that extreme – usually two or three artists can cut a pop song. By the way, Maren Morris absolutely kills that song – she was the best person for it."
