Since announcing their shock split over two weeks ago, rumours have been rife as to why Love Island 2019 runners-up Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have called time on their romance after five years.

With a number of allegations flying around, Tommy has admitted he's 'heartbroken', whilst Molly thanked her fans for their support on her return to social media earlier this week.

Now, Molly has publicly addressed the split for the first time, speaking about the publicity she's received over the last two weeks in a new vlog on her popular YouTube page.

In the 36-minute video, mum-of-one Mol said: "I don't really ever plan on talking about the past couple of weeks. That's not something I feel comfortable with. This is real life. It's not drama, it's not tea or a publicity stunt. This is real life. It's very sad and it's very deep. It doesn't feel right for me to come on here to talk about it.

"I haven't made a plan whatsoever about what I want to say.

"The last two weeks have been very, very real. It's real life, something that we have been going through as privately as we can, but obviously not privately whatsoever because I haven't really been able to get away from it.

"My coping mechanism for the last couple of weeks is talking to the people that I love and are so close to me and have been so incredible through this time and then coming on here and pushing forward."

Admitting it's something she would like to deal with privately, for both herself and Tommy, she added: "It's just not nice and I feel everything has been blown way out of proportion and it has all got a bit carried away with itself and I think the last thing I want to do is fuel that fire and stir that pot when it doesn't need to be stirred."
