Love Island fans were left sat with their jaws wide open during last year's Summer series when the show made history by bringing back 2018 Islander Adam Collard, and now it looks like that trend could be about to continue.

As we all gear up for the return of Winter Love Island, with new host Maya Jama, on Monday 16th January, rumours are rife as to which sexy singletons will be entering the brand new South African villa.

As well as model Tanya Manhenga being heavily rumoured, not one, but TWO former Love Island stars have hinted they could also be making a return.

Firstly, 2019 star Arabella Chi, who went on to date Wes Nelson when she left the villa, has hinted she could be on the upcoming series.

Taking to Instagram to ring in the New Year, 31-year-old Arabella wrote: 'Super excited for the year ahead coming back on your tv screens this month so keep your eyes peeled as you won’t want to miss it 👀'. (sic)

The model later went on to open up about her mum's health, adding to the post by saying: 'On a slightly damper note last year was extremely tough with my mum getting seriously ill towards the end of the year sometimes life throws awful things at you and I am trying to spin this into a positive as much as I can help others with her disease and like conditions like IBS which I have suffered with my whole life a colitis/chrones disease, I am exciting to start learning more about gut health and sharing what I learn with you as last year made me realise the importance of your gut and that we really don’t look after it as much as we should in every day life 🤍 love you all 😚'. (sic)

Another Islander from the 2019 series who has sent rumours into overdrive is Joanna Chimonides, who has posted a photo of herself of a road sign in Cape Town where the new series is set to be filmed.

Joanne entered the show during the Casa Amor stage in 2019, coupling up with Michael Griffiths before being brutally dumped from the villa. The model has also dated Chelsea and England footballer Ben Chilwell in the past.

Despite these hints from the girls, ITV are yet to confirm any Islanders for the 2023 Winter series.
