Nathan Dawe, the DJ behind hits such as '0800 Heaven' with Joel Corry and Ella Henderson and '21 Reasons' featuring Ella Henderson, has now released another collab. This time the new song called 'Higher' is with good friend Joel Corry and singer Sacha.

After teasing new music for some time, Nathan revealed the song's title and release date, writing: '☁️ HIGHER out 23rd August ☁️ @joelcorry @sacha_sings'.

Joel reacted to the post by commenting: '✨✨✨', with a fan writing: 'Can’t wait 👍👍 it’s going to be an absolute banger 👍'. Another fan said: 'What a talented trio! Can’t wait for release day! ❤️'.

On the day the song was released, the DJ revealed the inspiration behind his new track, telling fans on TikTok: 'We wrote a song about having an indescribable love for someone, and it's finally out everywhere.'

'Higher' follows Nathan's song 'Ten' with MNEK, which was a song about never giving up. The DJ told his fans 'my new song with @mnek is about resilience, not giving up and fighting your way through life.'

This is also the second song from Joel in recent months, following the release of 'Tonight (D.I.Y.A) with Jax Jones and Jason Derulo, which as recently had a Pitbull remix.

This is also the second time Nathan and Joel have released a collab together following '0800 Heaven' in 2023. Last year, ahead of his Hits Live performance, Joel told Hits Radio that he wanted to collab with his friend Nathan.

He said a collab would come: "One day. We have talked about doing a collab together, and I just thought, maybe the project could be called Corry Dawe, like you just said. That is actually pretty sick."

You can hear songs by these artists on Clyde 1.
