A 7-year-old boy who went missing in New Cumnock in Ayrshire sparking a major police search, involving the use of a helicopter, has been found found safe.
Carson Shephard was reported missing from Afton Bridgend, on Sunday night with the public urged to “check garden sheds, gardens, garages”.
Local search parties were launched with people travelling from across Ayrshire and beyond to help try and find Carson.
